Harry Styles Just Got Engaged for the First Time. It’s Zoë Kravitz’s Third.

By Erica Coleman · April 29, 2026

Harry Styles has never been engaged before. Zoë Kravitz has been engaged twice — and both times, the wedding never happened. On Sunday, he proposed. She said yes.

The couple confirmed their engagement to a small circle of family and friends, with Page Six the first to report the news publicly after Kravitz was photographed earlier in the week wearing a large diamond ring that left little room for interpretation. The Hollywood Reporter confirmed the news, with a source describing Styles as “completely smitten” and saying he “would jump off a cliff for her.”

They have been together less than a year. Styles and Kravitz were first spotted together in Rome in August 2025 and photographed in Italy and New York City several times in the months that followed. By most accounts they have spent much of their relationship in Europe, where Styles has been based for stretches of the year, living what sources described to People magazine as “a very relaxed life” — strolling around, meeting up with friends, keeping a low profile for two of the most recognizable people on the planet.

The engagement ring, estimated by jewelry experts at approximately $1 million, is described as a large diamond — large enough to be visible in paparazzi photographs taken from a distance, which is how the news effectively broke before any official confirmation.

For Styles, 32, it is his first engagement. His previous high-profile relationships — with Olivia Wilde and model Taylor Russell, among others — never progressed to a proposal. His proposal to Kravitz, a year into their relationship, is the kind of move that surprises people who know how private he has kept his romantic life over the past several years.

For Kravitz, 37, the engagement carries a more complicated history. She was previously married to actor Karl Glusman — the two wed in 2019 and divorced in 2021. She then became engaged to Channing Tatum in October 2023 — a relationship that, at the time, seemed headed to the altar before the couple called off both the engagement and the relationship in late 2024 after about three years together.

Tatum’s response to Sunday’s news was noticed. Within hours of the engagement reports circulating, he posted a series of Instagram Stories — not mentioning Kravitz or Styles by name but posting content that observers immediately read as a reaction. He has not made a public statement.

No wedding date has been announced. Styles has already described significant plans for 2026 in other contexts, though specifics about the engagement timeline remain private. The couple has not posted about the engagement on their own social media accounts.
